Bad wreck

From something that i saw on myspace some boys from norton were in a bad car crash tonight. From what was posted ricky harris was trapped under water for around 6 minutes. Thats all that i know so if anyone knows anymore on it please post.

Here is what i heard!

Ricky is goin to Holston Valley but thy have to drive, they cant med-flight. They say they was goin about 90 mph when they went over into the creek.Quinton jumped from the back & doug swam out the window. They tryed to get ricky out of the seatbelt but couldnt, so they ended up cutting it. Doug & quinton is okay. But plz, pray for Ricky.

Jeez, that's terrible.. glad two are doing OK at least, and I hope that Ricky makes it out ok as well.

What in the world would they be doing at 90 MPH though? Guess that's nothing abnormal for inexperienced drivers.

Just gettin back from fishin and my buddy called someone from norton just to talk, anyways, from what they said, of course they were both girls and hopefully exaggerating the truth or didnt know what all happened, but they said he had passed. I just hope and pray he hasn't, he was one heck of a feller.

From a raider to every1 else please keep him in prayers and help him pull through this...the last thing i heard was when we were at the hospital last night and they got him to breathe on his own a lil bit b4 they drove him to HV...me and some other players are goin' over today so hopefully i'll be able to repost with some better news and information

I agree.. they had no business at 90 MPH, and I hope they've learned from this mistake and won't do it again in the future.

We are praying that he comes through all of this. He and his family are in our prayers. When something like this happens no matter the circumstances that causes the accidents of any kind it really hurts the community around. My son knows him and many kids from different schools hang out together and no matter where you goto school at this really affects all that know him. One reason why we should all cherish our friends because you never know when the last time you will see them. Last year when Drew H. from Pound was in a accident we didn't know what all was going to happen and believe me it makes one hit their knees and call upon God for help. I watched as our community hurt over Drew, but I saw how it made all the boys closer once Drew got to come home. For those going to see this young man in the hospital please tell him that the whole community around him is praying for him to get better and come home. God Bless #55.
